Salsa Sunday returns! The best block party around is happening July 16th with free live music and dancing in the street! Join us on Center Street, between Shattuck and Oxford in beautiful Downtown Berkeley.

Salsa Sundays is a series of five block parties held every third Sunday from June through October in the heart of Downtown Berkeley. Each free event is held on a tree lined stretch of Center Street that is home to the Berkeley Art Museum, a half block from the Downtown BART station, a half block from Cal Campus, and just steps away from some of the best food and drinks in Berkeley!

Now in its 4th year, Salsa Sundays has become a highly anticipated summer event that brings together over 2000 people of all ages from across the Bay including San Francisco and Oakland each month. 

The afternoon starts at noon with free dance lessons from Ruth M. Caspary, then comes DJ Antonio Chavez and some of the best salsa bands from the Bay Area hit the stage and play to all afternoon until 6pm.
